We are a boutique wedding dress shop located in Whangarei, Northland and have a stunning collection of modern and elegant dresses. We offer a very casual and relaxed vibe, making our shop the perfect place to start your dress journey!
We know that sometimes there’s not always going to be the perfect dress ready and waiting for you and that we may have to pull different parts together to create your very own masterpiece - this is what we are here to help you with.
Not only will we work with you to ensure you find or create your dream dress but we are passionate about providing a unique and comfortable experience for all our brides.
We operate by appointment only to ensure our brides get an exclusive experience and as much help from our consultants as they desire.
Our story
Owners, Shontelle and Missy are both local to Whangarei having grown up here and now growing their own families right here in Northland.
Our crazy idea to co-own a bridal shop started when we went searching for a dress for Shontelles own wedding. We travelled to Auckland to try and find her dream dress. Travelling to Auckland to try dresses when you have kids at home who are still very much dependent on their mummas proved to be very rushed and not as enjoyable as it should have been.
And on another note... why is it that us in the North have to travel places in order to do some decent shopping?!
But anyway...
For years we always talked about possible business ideas but there were none that we felt fully passionate about.
We joked about taking over the bridal shop when it came up for sale and the more we talked about it and reflected on our own dress shopping experiences the more ideas we got and the more excited we became. We realised that this could actually be an amazing opportunity.
We believe that anyone can achieve what they set their minds to. So here we are… giving it a go!
