On Behalf Sales - Terms & Conditions

  1. The process:
    1. Once you have completed the online agreement and brought in your dress, your dress will be hung on our ‘on behalf’ rack, it will not be kept in a bag/box. Your bag will be labelled and stored until the sale of your dress or otherwise. 
    2. All brides we see will be given the opportunity to browse and try on your dress. 
    3. If we receive any interest in your dress we will contact you prior to sale to check you are happy to go ahead with the sale. At this stage we will obtain your bank account details. Once payment has been received from the purchaser, we will transfer the net sale proceeds to you.
  2. Responsibilities of No. 10 Bridal
    1. We will treat your dress like it is one of our own and do our best to keep it in the same condition as when it came into the shop; however, in signing this agreement, you acknowledge that in having your dress in our shop, that it will be tried on and therefore may obtain some wear. 
    2. We are not responsible for any wear and tear or damage caused to your dress while it is in our possession. However, in the event that your dress obtains some damage, we will at this stage, discuss options for repair with you.
  3. Your wish price

    We do our best to get you what you want for your dress however it is often a matter of finding a bride to love and fit your dress the same way you did. Often brides will ask to negotiate on price given that it is a ‘second hand’ dress so this is something we will discuss with you should the question arise. 

    If you would like to change your wish price at any time, feel free to email us. 

  4. Sale fee

    We take a small fee from the sale of your dress, the fee amount varies from dress to dress..

    The fee amount will be taken out of the funds received from the sale of your dress and any balance will then be transferred to the bank account provided by you.

  5. Sale time frames

    We can not guarantee the time it will take to sell your dress or that it will be sold at all while it is in our shop. Time frames vary significantly. The sale of your dress will depend on what brides are coming through, what is considered ‘fashion’ at the time, the size and the price of your dress. 

  6. Advertising
    1. We list all of our on behalf sale dresses on our website unless you have advised us otherwise. 
    2. Occasionally, we will also advertise our on behalf dresses on our social media. 
    3. You are welcome to list your dress online while it’s in the shop, however any viewings/fittings will be at yours or the buyers expense. The cost will be $20.
  7. Collection

    You can take your dress from the shop whenever you like. Ideally, we ask for at least 1 week's notice before your dress is taken. Please contact us to arrange a time for collection. 

  8. Privacy and safety

    Your privacy is important to us. All personal information provided is secure in our database. 

  9. Complaints policy

    If you have any complaints, please put them to us by email hello@no10bridal.co.nz. 

    We will aim to respond to any complaints within 5 days of receiving your complaint so any issues can be addressed/rectified where possible. 

  10. Acknowledgement

    Upon submission of the online form/agreement you acknowledge that you have read and understood the above terms and conditions.
